GRADE 12 Kgakoa Secondary School learners attended a three-day camp at Die Drift Resort

GRADE 12 Kgakoa Secondary School learners attended a three-day camp at Die Drift Resort recently.

The camp was part of senior certificate examination preparations, with the learners receiving assistance in mathematics, accounting, life science and physical science.

Mmaphuti Mokgolo, one of the learners said: “The camp was about encouraging team spirit and building group discussions skills”.

She said the learners wanted to obtain 100% pass rate this year and 100% bachelors passes.

Another learner, Herold Semenya said Kgakoa hosted the first camp in 2011.

“I think the learners are ready to tackle the examination without fear. It takes dedication, commitment and hard work to pass matric with flying colours. I urge learners to focus on their studies and to manage their time effectively.”

About 103 learners participated in the camp, which they described as a memorable experience.

Juslet Seopa, one of the teachers who attended the camp said the camp was held to motivate learners and to instil self-confidence in the learners ahead of their senior certificate examination.
