New bassinets for Ngwana House

Ngwana House is celebrating its eighth anniversary and the Public Servants Association of South Africa (PSA) donated five baby bassinets to the home on Thursday.

POLOKWANE – Ngwana House is celebrating its eighth anniversary and the Public Servants Association of South Africa (PSA) donated five baby bassinets to the home on Thursday.

There are 17 babies at the home with six of them needing special care. Some of the babies are newborns, with others being just four months old. Pieter Koen, PSA provincial manager said Ngwana House was doing a tremendous job in taking care of the babies with very limited resources.

“To show our support we are donating five bassinets to the house. We are the second largest trade union in the public service and we recognise the importance of being involved in social responsibility activities and annually assist needy communities, local welfare and charitable organisations,” Koen said.

Amanda Koekemoer, project manager at the house thanked the PSA for their support.
