LIMPOPO – THE Polokwane Library auditorium came alive with the performances of some talented young people and an appreciative audience last Saturday when non-profit organisation Dream Chaser Limpopo hosted a talent search.

According to the Dream Chaser Limpopo director, Roselyn Ramaphakela, the top five performers in each category were selected. “The top five in each category will compete again, and the winners selected and awarded prizes and trophies,” Ramaphakela explained.

“We are scouting new talent; we want to see what they have to offer if they are given a chance to present themselves. We are also raising funds to go to New York next year for an international talent search in modelling and I will be representing Limpopo,” Ramaphakela said.

She said she wanted to help every young person around Polokwane realise their dreams. “We aim to change and promote this young talent so that they can be recognised. We want talented young people to use their talent to generate income, as there are fewer jobs in our country,

“Limpopo has a lot of talent that we need to expose,” she concluded.
