Last Tuesday was a day of great fun and excitement for learners of Jabez Christian Academy when they were allowed to go to school in their nighties to celebrate the birthday of Elana Erasmus, Principal of the school. Erasmus’ office looked like a huge bedroom abuzz with individual and groups of learners in colourful slippers and pyjamas bringing small gifts and adding their good wishes to that of the rest.
The staff, also in pyjamas, provided the refreshments and snacks for all. They also presented Erasmus with a huge wall clock to make sure everything runs like the proverbial clockwork at the school.
