Fresh coat of paint for Good Hope Primary School

Good Hope Primary School's beautification committee and members of a men's society in Westenburg painted the school's admin block last Saturday.

POLOKWANE – Good Hope Primary School’s beautification committee and members of a men’s society in Westenburg painted the school’s admin block last Saturday.

The committee held several fundraisers at the school to raise money for renovations at the school, starting with the administration block, which includes the principal and deputy principal’s offices, and the reception area.

When the society heard about the committee’s plans to paint the admin block they offered to help.

Chairperson of the beautification committee, Joseph Adams said: “The school received a donation from Builders Warehouse Polokwane. We used this money and some of the money we raised throughout various fundraising initiatives at the school to buy paint and other equipment. We are also making curtains for the admin block, which will be hanged before the schools reopen for the second semester,” Adams said.

He also thanked Builders Warehouse for their donation and the society for assisting.
