PEMPS runners shine at cross country championships
Three Pemps primary school learners, Khati Mabunda, Moshe Chueu and Jolter Matsaung competed in the South African Cross Country championships
POLOKWANE – Three Pemps learners, Khati Mabunda, Moshe Chueu and Jolter Matsaung competed in the South African Cross Country championships held in Middelburg, Mpmalanga, on 12 September.
Moshe claimed the 18th spot out of 100 competitors, Khati finished 15th out of 113 athletes and Jolter crossed the finish line in position 105.
May Mayat, cross country coach, said the team did exceptionally well and she was happy with the way the athletes performed.
