POLOKWANE – Curro Northern Academy’s primary school learners received prizes at the school’s annual awards ceremony recently.
The top academic award for a primary learner, the Dux Learner of the Year Award, went to Gr 6 learner, Jassiel Ndlovu. He received this award for his outstanding academic achievements in mathematics and social science.
Jassiel achieved 92% in mathematics and 87% in social science.
Apart from the academic awards there were also numerous sports awards handed to learners who performed well in codes like cross country, athletics, golf, netball, football, cricket and rugby.

Gr 4 learners who received merit awards for their academic performance are in front, Neo Magolela and Tlhologelo Tau. At the back are Jessica Ndwammbi and Dakalo Mavhidula.
Gr 5 learners who received merit awards for their academic performance are Maria Bopape, Junior Mashangwane and Reabetswe Matabane.
