6 killed, 2 injured in R36 accident

Six people including three children were killed when the vehicle they were traveling in rolled on the R36 near Mooketsi on Friday night, said ER24 Spokesperson, Russel Meiring.

LIMPOPO – According to an article on Arrive Alive the paramedics arrived on scene and found that the vehicle had sustained a large amount of damage in the collision, leaving a trail of debris from the road to the tree.

“On inspection, paramedics discovered numerous bodies lying around the scene that had apparently been ejected from the vehicle,” said Meiring.

Three children, two girls and a boy believed to be aged between 4 and ten, and two adults were declared dead on scene.

Three other adult patients were found on scene, one of them a critically injured woman.

“Paramedics treated the patients and they were transported to Kgapane Hospital for further treatment.”

“The critically injured patient later succumbed to her injuries.”

“The cause of the accident is still unknown,”
