Police give back to community
In celebration of Mandela Day, Westenburg Police officers cleaned the area around the station and handed out food to people on the street.
POLOKWANE – While the officers cooked for the homeless, local artists did their bit for Mandela Day by painting the wall in front of the station.
Residents from all over the Polokwane banded together to build a small relaxation area for officers outside the station where they can spend their lunch breaks.
Westenburg Police Spokesperson Const. Naphuri Sagobola said they were very blessed to be part of the Mandela Day celebration and was thankful for the assistance they received from the community on the day.
