[IN PICTURES] Residents up at the break of dawn to make their mark
Residents dared the cold and were queuing as early as 06:30 this morning (Wednesday) at different voting stations in and around the city ready to make their mark.
POLOKWANE – Limpopo IEC Provincial Officer, Nkaro Mateta said the IEC is ready and urge all South Africans to participate in the election to further strengthen the country’s democracy.
“We have always been able to hold transparent, free and fair elections. The slogan ‘Your future is in your hand’, has worked to galvanise parties, their supporters and voters. We believe that across the length and breadth of this nation, people inherently love and have a strong connection to this country,” Mateta said.
No problems have been reported so far at the different voting stations in and around the city. More photos to be published in the Review Weekend.
