Two people trapped after truck accident on N1 North
One person was critically injured and was airlifted to a nearby hospital following a two truck collision on the N1 North bypass.
POLOKWANE – Paramedics arrived on the scene to find two people still trapped inside the cab, according to South African Paramedic Services.

According to information received one truck allegedly rear ended another truck that was standing stationary on the side of the road.
“Two people were trapped inside the cab of the truck and life saving equipment was used to cut them out. One patient sustained critical injuries and was airlifted by provincial services to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. The second patient sustained serious injuries and was transported by South African Paramedic Services to a nearby hospital.”
The N1 North was closed to allow for clean-up.
