POLOKWANE – Raymond Sithole (25) who was arrested for human trafficking at his Chebeng home outside Seshego on 2 January, appeared in the Seshego Magistrate Court yesterday.
According to a statement issued by Hawks Spokesperson, Captain Matimba Maluleke, the case was postponed to 7 February 2017 for further investigation.
“The suspect is still in custody,” he confirmed.
Four Zimbabwe nationals aged between 15 and 20 who were allegedly kept under lock and key and forced to steal and forcibly work for the suspect were also rescued with false promises of good jobs and better lives in South Africa.
