Suspects in foiled cash in transit heist in Mokopane denied bail

Two suspects who were arrested appeared before the Mokopane Magistrate Court today.

LIMPOPO- Police spokesperson Lt Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe says the two suspects were remanded in custody with no bail until 5 May 2017, pending further police investigations.

The suspects were identified as Boitumelo Daniel Aphane (31) from Mahwelereng and Sehlabe Lewis Nthutang (38) from Alexandra in Gauteng.

Ngoepe says the two suspects were charged with the following crimes:

– Four counts of attempted murder.

– Three counts of possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

– One count of possession of suspected stolen properties.

“The two suspects who were shot and killed during the cross fire ,were identified as Solly Pale (34) Mahwelereng and Jacob Jappie Ngwaile (32) years from Chebebeng village in Seshego,” said Ngoepe.
