Municipality continues to deploy water tankers to Seshego

Repairs on the damaged line in Zone 8 continues

POLOKWANE – The municipality says the team on site encountered technical challenges which in turn, caused delays.

“Our technicians are hard at work to ensure that water is restored back within lesser period.”

The municipality will continue to source out more water tankers to assist with supplying temporary relief to Zone 3, 4, 5 and 8 residents until the damaged pipe is repaired.

Municipal Spokesperson, Matshidiso Mothapo says tankers are deployed to affected areas and move from one point to the other within a zone.

“Those who can, may continue to draw water from the purification plant in Zone 4 between BM Corner in the meantime. There are water tankers in all affected areas, including Zone 2,” he says.

The municipality has apologized for the inconvenience caused and will continue to work around the clock to ensure supply is restored.
