Police search for 66-year-old mentally challenged man in Sekgosese

Phetole Phineas Mothuma was last seen on 29 August at around 19:00.

LIMPOPO – Police in Sekgosese, outside Giyani, have launched the search operation.

Mothuma is from Marirong village in Bolobedu South, near Tzaneen.

Police spokesperson Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe says that on 24 August, Mothuma went to Senwamokgopa village in the Sekgosese policing area to see a traditional healer and disappeared.

“The victim was last seen wearing a sky blue pair of trousers, a heritage green t-shirt, a black jacket and blue and white shoes,” Ngoepe explained.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of this victim is urged to contact Captain Maswanganyi on 082 565 8238; the nearest police station; the crime stop number 0860010111 or the crime line sms 32211.
