A group of nine Grade 6 and 7 netball players from Jabez Christian Academy attended a netball clinic at ATKV Klein Kariba over the weekend where they were coached on rules, techniques, team work and discipline.
Puleng Raphuthi and Kgothatso Makgahlela received certificates for attack skills and Patience Matsi received a certificate for ball skills.
Educators Danlizelle van Heerden and Danell Kruger accompanied the learners and agree that attending the clinic added value. “The players were able to hone their skills and learn from professionals which included Melinda de Goede, a former University of Pretoria netball coach,” Van Heerden said.
