Contestants will gather after the competition to take part in 67 minutes for Mandela Day.
POLOKWANE – Founder of Face of Ivy Park, Tshifhiwa Mammburu (23) says entries are now open for aspiring male and female models in Limpopo.
Mammburu says participants must be between the ages of 12 to 24-years-old and registration fees are as follows:
12 – 16 category: R150.
17 – 24 category: R200.
Entries are open till 10 July 2018 and the pageant will take place on Saturday, 14 July 2018 at Rush Hour in Schoeman Street. The pageant will start at 13:30.
“At the end of the competition, we will then gather our models and select any shelters around Polokwane and dedicate our 67 minutes of Mandela Day there, working, playing with the children, donating blankets, as well as sanitary pads,” Tshifhiwa said.
Tickets to watch the pageant cost only R30.00 each and all contestants/participants are requested to bring at least one blanket for Mandela Day and three packs of sanitary pads, which will be donated to shelters in Polokwane.
