Newly revamped Crossing Mall opens its doors ahead of the festive season
Excitement currently fills the town, not only because of the festive season nearing, but The Crossing Mall is finally almost fully revamped just in time for proper Christmas shopping.

MOKOPANE – Charmaine Gouveia, General Centre Manager boasts with the mall now having 49 tenants: “This is such exciting times for the mall, but we had a rough year. The dirty work including the building process is finished, now it is only small touch-ups like flooring and lighting that need to be finished.
“The new shops still need to move in and restaurants like Steers and Romans Pizza are also moving. Our five ‘line shops’, Side step, Cross Trainer, Skipper Bar, Sport Scene and Signature Cosmetics are built across Pep Home. Jet is also occupying the space where CNA used to be.”

Parking is not a problem at the centre and there is plenty of space on the deck parking, under deck parking and on the Woolworths side. She further said the building process was nerve-wracking at certain times and definitely affected our shopper numbers.
“Yet, through it all the people still supported us and we thank them.”
Woolworths and Checkers had their official opening in the past two weeks. Makhutso Mashate, Woolworths Mokopane Store Manager says: “Our store is beautiful just in time for the festive season. Our food market grew from 110 m2 to 355 m2.

“To increase not only the food market but also the clothing section was an excellent option and our customer base has grown significantly. Our staff are very happy to be working in the new space. I think we might just be the most beautiful Woolworths in Limpopo.”
Checkers, which also increased their floor space cut the ribbon on Wednesday, 7 November. Vince Kotzee, Checkers Regional Manager says: “I think that it was long overdue for the town to have a bigger Checkers centre. It already does the town good and I think that we made the competition between other stores much bigger now.
“Every staff member at the store is very excited to make sure we are a number one centre to shop at.”
The mall management also wishes everyone a festive season.
