Case after threat to kill woman

Police are investigating a case of common assault as well as domestic violence after a 27-year-old woman was allegedly assaulted and threatened with death by her 39-year-old husband in Westenburg on Sunday.
According to Provincial Police Communications Head Motlafela Mojapelo the incident happened at around 23:00.
The woman alleged that she was emotionally, physically and psychologically abused by her husband. It is reported that he also used a knife to stab pillows while swearing at her and threatening to kill her, according to Mojapelo.
Despite contradicting information, Mojapelo said no arrest has been made yet.
