#WFD – Creamy Tagliatelle Carbonara with Sausages
Serve and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
POLOKWANE – Tagliatelle are a traditional type of pasta from Emilia-Romagna and Marche, regions of Italy.
Tagliatelle can be served with a variety of sauces, though the classic is a meat sauce or Bolognee sauce.
This recipe by What’s for Dinner takes a different spin on this classic Italian dish.
Ingredients
- 300g chicken / pork sausages then, grilled and sliced
- 50g parmesan cheese, grated
- 300g tagliatelle pasta, cooked and drained
- 300ml milk
- 1 x KNORR Bacon Carbonara Flavour Pasta Sauce
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 15ml olive oil
Method
- Heat olive oil in a large pan and gently fry the diced onion and garlic until soft.
- Add the sliced sausages and fry to colour on both sides.
- Add the milk then stir in the contents of the sachet of KNORR Bacon Carbonara Flavour Pasta Sauce.
- Allow to simmer for 5 minutes to thicken the sauce then serve over the cooked tagliatelle pasta and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
