Stanford Lake College learners dominate on the sport field

Stanford Lake College athletes competed in the district trails in Nkowankowa on 27 February and performed exceptionally well.

POLOKWANE – Lia Revelas in Gr 12 dominated the field in both the 400 m and 100 m hurdles. She broke the provincial record in her 400 m hurdle race in a time of 00:01:04,37.

Kian Noné and David Ramalepe, both in Gr 9, qualified for SA’s in the high jump and 100 m respectively. Both boys also jumped and ran their personal bests. All three have qualified to represent Limpopo at SA Champs.

Mada Buliani in Gr 11 faced some tough competition on the track and despite not running a qualifying time, he did run his personal best. Devon Coad in Gr10 and Hosea Muleya in Grade 12 narrowly missed qualification as well.
