Leisure is the name and health and wellness is her game
Living up to her name, Leisure Seshoka (30) believes there's more to a spa visit, than just relaxation.
POLOKWANE – From softer skin to better health, Leisure is the owner of Leisure Skincare and Wellness Day Spa and the health and skincare specialist believes that the benefits of spending time at a health spa are well-known.
“Unlike a trip to the doctor’s office, visiting a spa is an enjoyable way to improve your health without being nervous,” she said.
Leisure owns spas in Polokwane, Lebowakgomo and she recently opened another spa in Marulaneng Park. She told BONUS that her spas have a serene atmosphere and beautiful surroundings.
“After a long day at work, spending an afternoon at a spa is an enjoyable activity and that’s why I decided to open another spa in a different area where people can experience our therapeutic skills,” she said.
Leisure’s goal is to also empower young women, like herself, who have the skills in the beauty industry and that’s why she has employed beauty therapists; Bontle Mphethi, Emma Seshoka and Khutso Dikobo to assist her at the spa.

“We welcome women, men and children and we also provide a healthy and soothing atmosphere for our clients and guests to enjoy and explore a wide range of wellness therapeutic treatments such as massages, rejuvenating facials, enhancing hands & feet treatments, advanced makeup, manicures, pedicures, accentuating lashes and specialised therapeutic treatments.”
The spa also offers tailormade packages such as bridal and baby showers, birthdays, picnic setups, kids parties and couple packages.
“All our spa treatments focus on a sensory experience aimed at balancing, relaxing the body. We also have a relaxing lapa area, braai place and a fountain,” she added.
