#WFD – Spicy Potato Salad

This dish will take you around 25 minutes to prepare and 30 minutes to cook.

POKLOKWANE – Potato salad is a dish made from boiled potatoes and a variety of other ingredients. It is generally considered a side dish, as it usually accompanies the main course.

Potato salad is widely believed to have originated in Germany from where it spread widely throughout Europe and later to European colonies

Ingredients

  1. 6 – 8 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
  2. 1 tbsp cooking oil
  3. 2 onions, diced
  4. 1 tbsp rajah mild & spicy curry powder
  5. 1 cup mayonnaise
  6. 1 x tbsp KNORR Brown Onion Soup
  7. 1 tbsp Robertsons Parsley
  8. 3 eggs, boiled, peeled and sliced

Method

  1. Boil potatoes in salted water until they start going soft, then drain and allow them to cool
  2. Fry onion in oil until soft, then add the Rajah Mild & Spicy Curry Powder. Fry for 1 minute to release the aroma and flavour
  3. Allow the onions to cool then mix together with the mayonnaise, Knorr Brown Onion Soup and Robertsons Parsley
  4. Gently mix in the cooled potatoes and eggs
