Stay at home while Gooo shops for you

Gooo.co.za is a delivery service that provides groceries, medicine, books and other needs to residents in Polokwane

POLOKWANE – Residents won’t have to worry about venturing out to buy essentials thanks to Tumelo Masebe’s brainchild, Gooo.co.za.

The delivery service provides groceries, medicine, books and other needs to residents in the City of Stars, and Tumelo says the idea for his business was based on the crisis the country is facing now.

“People are scared of doing their day-to-day shopping and Gooo.co.za allows us to shop on behalf of our clients. Basically what we are trying to achieve is minimising people driving to the shops by running their errands for them. We are still based in Polokwane and I believe we will be able to venture to other provinces in the future,” he said.

Tumelo explained to BONUS that they are hoping to add other services once the lockdown has been lifted, but for now, they focus on groceries and medicine as they are considered essential.”

Residents can order their groceries via WhatsApp (081 264 9002) or e-mail (express@gooo.co.za) and orders can take up to 90 minutes, depending on how busy the stores are,” he said.

Tumelo added that they are dedicated to saving their clients’ time by assisting with day-to-day errands and are known for picking the freshest produce and the best cuts of meat.”I must say, our delivery time can be delayed as social distancing calls for a certain number of people in a store at a time but we aim to deliver within 90 minutes and collect payment upon delivery.”

You can also find the service on Facebook: Gooo.co.za and Instagram Gooo.co.za.
