Some areas will have no water on Tuesday: when, where

The Polokwane Municipality urged areas with water supply to use it sparingly.

POLOKWANE – An inspection by a team of contractors on the Dap Naudé pipeline on Tuesday, 30 June will affect water supply to the city, according to Polokwane Municipality Spokesperson, Thipa Selala.

Selala said in a statement that the inspection at Dap Naudé Dam is scheduled from 06:00 to 18:00.

“Affected areas of supply include the city, Bendor, Ster Park, Flora Park and Fauna Park. High-lying parts of Nirvana can also experience low pressure in water supply,” the statement read.

Selala added that if everything goes as planned, water supply shall be restored at 18:00 once the contractors have completed inspection on the line.

“Areas receiving supply are urged to use water sparingly. Water related challenges can be reported to the municipal helpline at 015 290 2376 / 2629,” Selala concluded.
