Bayano reaches out to job seekers

The Assistant coach of Polokwane City Football Club, Bayano Moloto through his foundation, handed cooked meals to job seekers in Polokwane on Tuesday.

Moloto said with the gesture he wanted to give them hope and encouragement in their job hunting journey.

“Some of us are seemingly in a privileged position. We are employed and we can afford certain things.

“Most of the people who are sitting on the corners of various streets in the city, searching for employment, are parents.

“We have families to support and provide for and some would spend the entire day without a meal. Some will even go back to their respective homes with literally nothing. We can imagine and understand the pain of looking for a job on an empty stomach.

“With the meals that we gave them, we are saying to them we understand their struggle and they must not give up,” Moloto said.

One of the beneficiaries, Frans Ramabodu said he was grateful to Moloto and the Machete Moloto Educare Sport Foundation.

“It is tough here on the streets. Job hunting is not an easy thing, it is actually difficult. We mainly rely on part-time jobs which are scarce these days due to Covid-19. We wish these meals can be a daily thing.

“We enjoyed the meals and we want him to continue changing people’s lives.”
