PEPPS celebrates 30 yrs with a naming ceremony

Board members and trustees of PEPPS recently celebrated the schools 30th birthday in a unique way.

POLOKWANE – A naming ceremony in correspondence of the school’s birthday was held and some of the facilities were renamed after some of the trustees that made an impact on the school.

The school’s theme for 2021 is “By God’s Grace” and Principal, Annabel Roberts said the school is successful and has grown for the past 30 years by God’s grace.

“By God’s grace indeed. We can finally feel PEPPS has some history and for the past few years we wondered how we can make this a special occasion.”

There were five facilities named:

• CA Melville Auditorium were named after Carol Melville who joined PEPPS in 1991. She was elected as a PEPPS trust board member from 2017 to the present day.

• SP Hamese sports field were named after Seapara Hamese who served on the PEPPS Seshego Pre-School Management Council from 1991 to 1995. From 1996 he served as a PEPPS trust board member.

• MA Lebepe sports ground were named after Masia Lebepe who joined PEPPS as the Chairman of the Management Council for PEPPS, Hex Elizabeth Modjadji School from 1991 to 1995. From there he served on the PEPPS trust board from 1996 to 2020.

• MP Maserumola sports field was named after Mashele Maserumola who served as chairman on the PEPPS Seshego Pre-School Management Council from 1991 to 1995. He was a PEPPS trustee board member from 1996 to 2020.

• MJ Tladi hall was named after John Tladi who served on the management council of the Polokwane campus from 1991 to 1995. From there he joined the PEPPS trust board in 1995 to 2020.
