Police identify brutally murdered woman as Serala View resident

The Mokopane police have identified the body of a woman found murdered along the R101 as Serala View resident, Molebogeng Ramoroka.

POLOKWANE – Police in the Waterberg District have intensified investigations following the identification of a woman found murdered along the R101.

Molebogeng Ramoroka from Serala View, Polokwane, was discovered around midday on Saturday (August 23), near Weenen High School.

Limpopo police spokesperson, Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, says the victim was last seen at about 12:45 on the same day when she was picked up from her home by a Bolt e-hailing vehicle and dropped off at Spar in Flora Park.

She was positively identified by family members on Monday (August 25).

“At the crime scene, officers found the victim’s body under a tree, partially covered with ceiling boards and plastic sheets. She had sustained severe injuries to multiple parts of her body.”

Police have launched a manhunt for the suspect(s) behind the killing and have appealed to the public for assistance.
