Is the ANC Youth League in Limpopo losing support? I ask this after I attended the party’s party at Dijong over the weekend. This was a party to celebrate the league’s 69 years of existence and with no entry fee, I expected a full house. But there weren’t many young people in sight. Did people not come to the event because they have lost interest in the league’s politics or were they just committed elsewhere? I can’t help but compare things to when Julius Malema still led the league. The league did not have a problem filling a venue if they were hosting a party. What went wrong? Does this mean Malema was the league’s draw card?
