American sprint driver at Polokwane Ovals

Over and above the normal action and excitement generated by club championships at the Polokwane Oval spectators can look forward to some adrenaline rushing action in the Sprint class with American driver Bill Rose also participating on Saturday.
Polokwane Oval Promoter Stephan Weideman said Rose is a well-known American sprint driver that is sure to give local drivers a hard time on the track. “Polokwane Oval promises to keep racing interesting and by having Rose here is a way to lure more spectators and to give them value for money,” Weideman said.
All other classes will also be seen in action. “Spectators can look forward to regular top class drivers in the categories for rookies, 1660s, 2,0 litre modifieds and hotrods,” Weideman said.
R50 per adult will get you in at the gate while children under the age of 12 can enter at R20.
Gates open at 12:00 for spectators to set up their fires and to get comfy around the track. Official race starts at 18:00. Food and beverages will also be available.
