Protea Hotel Ranch Resort hosted the second night golf of the year and in keeping with April Fool’s Day decided on a vintage theme.
Fourteen four ball teams entered for the Ranch April Fool’s Vintage Night Golf event totally 56 players taking on the dark armed with only two to three clubs and a glowing ball in the par three challenge.
After the 12 holes players were treated to delicious two course meal of burger and chips and pudding.
Shaun Collin scored the most points and claimed first prize followed by Zirk Coetzee and Hilton Hughes in second and third respectively. On the course they were offered shooters to keep the spirits high.
Sport, Team Building and Leisure Manager at the Ranch, Nico Myburgh said it was once again a huge success and positive feedback from players are proof of an enjoyable event.
Myburgh also thanked the sponsors for prizes worth more than R10 000 for players.
