Julias Mapatha and Matsobane Tleane gave 126 competitors in the TaylorMade Betterball hosted at Polokwane Golf Club on Saturday little chance to get to the top after finishing first with 51 points.
With three points behind them Chris Binneman and Dirk Botha took second place with Jacky Papola and Thomas Mnguni in third only one point behind the runners-up.
Players who succeeded with the longest drive are Marietjie Smit (7th), Tristan Schwim (18th), Papola (4th), Keith Badenhorst (8th), Mpho Makhado (11th) and Patrick Cahill (16th).
Last Wednesday 66 players competed in the individual Stableford Club Day which saw top scorer Kobus Marnewick taking first position. Craig Hawken and Attie Buitendag claimed second and third place respectively.
Golfers are reminded that the Monthly Medal is to be played on Saturday.
