Lim Softball team national champions

Limpopo Softball men’s team continued their dominance in the sport when they beat the Kwazulu-Natal team 2-0 to win the 2019 National Provincial Championships Softball Championship at Eastern Cape softball grounds on Saturday.
The provincial team has now won the title four years in a row since 2016 and already have their sights set on the 2020 tittle.
Congratulating the team, General Secretary of Limpopo Softball Association Benny Boshomane said they are proud of the team’s commitments to national events. “The players have been consistent throughout the years and that motivates young players coming through the ranks. We are happy to have such a crop of dedicated and committed players who want nothing but success,” Boshomane said.
He stressed that it won’t be easy to defend their title but they will give their best in all competitions. “We want to win it again next year. We have the players and experience for such competitions and we believe we can win it again,” he concluded.
