Karateka gather for display of skills, techniques

Karateka in the province gathered at the Polokwane Wrestling Club on Saturday to compete in different age groups and styles during a competition oranised by JKA Karate Club.
Participants were judged on grounds of their kumite and kata skills and techniques. All podium finishers received medals for their hard work and commitment. Young karatekas got to learn more from their respective karate instructors as Sensei also took to the mat to compete in the senior and master categories. At the time of going to print, the results were still being awaited.
