Legodi, Mdluli shine at this betterball golf challenge

POLOKWANE – Joas Legodi and Charles Mdluli are the winners of the Sun Meropa betterball golf challenge at the Polokwane Golf Club on Saturday.
Legodi and Mdluli won with 49 points. David Hlabyago and Leo Gama came in second place with 49 points on a count-out, while Lynette Smith and Luanie van Rooyen finished in third place with 48 points.
Prince Leope received the prize for playing nearest to the pin at the eighth hole, while Koeksie Eager won the prize for playing nearest to the pin at the 16th hole.
The Sun Meropa jackpot stands at R1 340, but only R1 070 is payable. The jackpot draw was done by Riaan Piek at holes 1, 10, 11 and 16, but no one won.
Tomorrow (Friday) is the Mayoral Golf Day at the Polokwane Golf Club, while the Bidvest betterball golf challenge will be held on Saturday.
