Smoking action at Polokwane Oval Track

WATCH: The Coopers team shows off some heart-stopping drifting action to great delight of spectators.

POLOKWANE – Racers set the Polokwane Oval track alight with their prowess behind the steer at the club championship on Saturday, 25 March.

Spectators were treated to heart-stopping close calls and non-stop action. The annual club championship gives drivers the opportunity to see exactly where they stand when it comes to the best lap times and winning races.

The hotrods are ready for action as they wait their turn to go on the track.

The winners of the day were as follows:

Rookies:

1. Andri Cronje.

Stockrods:

1. Hennie de Koker.

2. Johan Bezuidenhout.

3. Corne Pretorius.

1. Dylan Bosch.

2. Francois Lewis.

3. Pieter Lourens.

2.1-litre modifieds:

1. Pieter Venter.

2. Desmond Bosch.

3. Tienie Kloppers.

1. Roulph Nel.

2. Stephan Fourie.
