The former Capricorn High School learner said they would have loved to have won the tournament, but that fate decided otherwise. “It was our fourth semi-final appearance since 2017 and we could not proceed to the finals. He said the valuable experience he gained at the tournament will enable him to become a top cricket administrator in the near future. “Being at a world cup with the Proteas team is something that I have always dreamed of as a young boy. It felt good to see my dream come to fruition. This was my fourth world cup as a manager and I have been to England, India and Australia. I have learned a lot since taking over the position in 2017,” he explained.
