Mitchell House makes history on golf course

An impressive total of 84 golfers had a date on the greens of the Polokwane Golf Club on Thursday when Mitchell House School hosted their first-ever golf competition.

POLOKWANE – The match was played in a four-ball alliance ghost score format.

According to Achsah Phoshoko, Director of Marketing at Mitchell House, the school plans to host this golf match on an annual basis. She says the event was organised by the school’s Parent’s Association.

Phoshoko says although the golf match served as a fundraising event, the school has not yet received feedback on how much money was raised.

The winners with a total of 95 points were Duan Viljoen, Thys de Kock, Gerhard Saaiman and Walter du Plessis.
