[VIDEO OF THE DAY] Mokopane duo impress rapper, Nicki Minaj

The video shows two local learners rapping to her hit song 'Nobody'.

POLOKWANE – Praising the learners, saying that “Music transcends all borders”, Minaj uploaded the video to share with her 81.5 million followers on Instagram.

According to reports on Citizen, the two learners are from Ramogabudi Secondary School in Mokopane.

“What country are these girls from? This really inspired me. Music transcends all borders.  UPDATE: #SouthAfrica represent,” she wrote.

The video was viewed more than 1.5 million times on Minaj’s Instagram page, one of the girls, in school uniform, raps, while the other, also in school uniform, dances in support of her friend.
