Her performance forms part of her musical tour titled ‘The Brave, True and Strong tour’ aimed at celebrating women, perseverance and the beauty of life.
Public Relations and Promotions Manager at Meropa Casino and Entertainment World, Raksha Gunpath said they were delighted to welcome Unathi to their stage for the first time. “Fittingly, she will take to the stage in Women’s Month for a show that she has defined as a celebration of women. Fans can look forward to seeing her perform songs from her new album, Brave, True and Strong. We cannot wait to see her in Polokwane,” Gunpath said.
Unathi reportedly said the past few years have been both beautiful and challenging.
“I have taken control of my life and I know what I want to achieve. Be brave.”
She reportedly described her new album as joyful, emotional and a breath of fresh air, adding that her sound was definitely what her fans have come to know. “This album is the culmination of everything that is happening in my life. If you listen carefully you will hear me speak about parts of my life that I have never shared before. Be true.”
Tickets are on sale at Computicket at R150 per person and will also be available at the door on the night of the show at R200 per person. The concert is expected to start at 20:00.
