MEC presents ANC veteran with a special gift

MEC for Social Development, Mapula Mokaba-Phukwana through the Department’s veteran’s programme presented African National Congress (ANC) veteran Ike Maphoto with a brand new walking stick and blankets during his 88th birthday celebrations at his house in Polokwane last Wednesday.
According to Mokaba-Phukwana the gesture was the department’s way of recognising and applauding the stalwart for the incredible work he has done for the country in the past.
She also indicated that, through the programme, they will hand over food parcels to other ANC veterans in different areas of the province.
