#WFD – Honey & Lemon Marinated Chicken

This recipe can be served with a salad of your choice or rice.

POLOKWANE –  Some say that honey and lemon are a match made in heaven because the complement each other so well.

In cooking, honey and lemon are two of the most popular ingredients because of their flavour combinations.

This recipe, provided by What’s for Dinner can be served with a salad of your choice or rice.

Ingredients

  1. 1 x spatchcocked chicken or 8 assorted chicken pieces
  2. 30ml honey
  3. 15ml Robertsons Italian Herbs
  4. 15ml Robertsons Paprika
  5. 3 x cloves garlic, crushed
  6. 75ml lemon juice
  7. 75ml olive oil
  8. 100ml boiling water
  9. 1 x KNORR Chicken Stock Pot

Method

  1. In a bowl mix together all the ingredients for the marinade until well combined.
  2. Place chicken into a shallow roasting tray and pour the marinade over.
  3. Allow chicken to marinate for 30 – 60 minutes in the fridge then place on the braai until cooked through, basting frequently with the marinade.
