What2Watch: This week’s worth-the-watch
Here is Review’s rundown of what to stream on Showmax and Netflix this week.

POLOKWANE – Streaming services such as Showmax and Netflix have made it possible to watch your favourite series or movies on demand, whenever you want to.
This however makes it even more difficult to decide between the magnitude of options available – that’s where we come in.
Review has put together a list of shows you should stream on your favourite platform.
What to Watch this week on:
Showmax:
Series: Halo
One of Rotten Tomatoes’ Most Anticipated Shows of 2022, Halo brings one of the highest-grossing gaming franchises of all time to the small screen, 21 years after the epic Xbox military science fiction game first launched.
Movie: The Father
Anthony is 80, living defiantly alone and rejecting the carers that his daughter, Anne (Olivia Colman), introduces. Yet help is also becoming a necessity for Anne as Anthony’s grip on reality is unravelling. As his memory ebbs and flows, how much of his own identity and past can Anthony cling to? How does Anne cope as she grieves the loss of her father, while he still lives and breathes before her?
For the kids: Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan
Nominated for a 2021 Kids’ Choice Award, Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan follows aspiring hip-hop artist Dylan, whose life is turned upside down when he has to go live with his aunt and uncle.
Netflix:
Series: Top Boy (Season 2)
This British series is perhaps one of the best-hidden gems on Netflix with the series failing to get much attention in the US despite still being a critical darling in the UK. The series focuses on two London drug dealers who are working their trade in a notorious housing estate in East London.
Movie: Windfall
A man breaks into a tech billionaire’s empty vacation home, but things go sideways when the arrogant mogul and his wife arrive for a last-minute getaway.
For the kids: Chip and Potato
Lovable pug Chip starts kindergarten, makes new friends and tries new things — with a little help from Potato, her secret mouse pal.
