The rehabilitation process has still not begun at the Standerton Landfill Site.

The Lekwa Municipality said the rehabilitation process will begin in February this year.

According to a reliable source, the Department of Environmental Affairs has not approved the rehabilitation plans yet.

They only meet once every two months to approve plans.
