eMbalenhle Cricket Club clinches title as games champions
The team faced ad beat EMBA Legends in the final of the annual Andrew Moloko Games.
eMbalenhle Cricket Club were crowned champions of the fourth annual Andrew Moloko Games after producing impressive performances throughout the tournament held at the eMbalenhle Sasol Club on July 18.
In the opening match, eMbalenhle won the toss and elected to bat first against Daveyton Cricket Club.
They posted a competitive 210/8 in their allotted overs.
In response, Daveyton struggled to build partnerships and were bowled out well short of the target, handing eMbalenhle a convincing 98-run victory to book their place in the final.

The final saw eMbalenhle Cricket Club face EMBA Legends in a match reduced to 15 overs per side due to fading light.
Batting first, EMBA Legends scored 110 runs in their 15 overs.
eMbalenhle successfully chased down the target, reaching the total with seven wickets in hand to secure the title.
The victory marked a historic achievement for eMbalenhle Cricket Club as they were crowned Andrew Moloko Games champions for the first time.
