It was a day defined by grit, determination, and late-game heroics as Evander High School’s U16’s and first-team hockey boys took to the field against Highveld Park High School on April 7.

Both matches kept spectators on the edge of their seats until the final whistles blew.

The U16 boys set the tone for the day in a tactical battle of nerves. Under the guidance of coach Theo Fakude and team manager Jessica Diedericks, the team played with incredible discipline, absorbing pressure and waiting for the right moment to strike.
