Radiokop resident nominated for sports award

Marna Grobler, a Radiokop resident is one of the 112 nominees who have begun their journey as finalists in the 16 categories of the Woman of Stature Awards (WOS) 2022.
The exciting announcement was made on Sunday, November 14 live on Facebook and Zoom, while the winners of the 16 categories will be announced on March 12, 2022.
“It is a great honour, and I am extremely excited to have been nominated for the Woman of Stature Sports Award and chosen as a finalist in this category.
“It gives me great joy being part of such an esteemed organisation that addresses the socioeconomic challenges that are prevalent in South Africa by making a valued contribution through development of women.
“This nomination not only provides a platform to reach women from all walks of live but also the opportunity to make a difference by giving back, inspiring, and mentoring which is very close to my heart.
“I look forward to this new and exciting journey, wishing all my fellow finalists all the best,” said Marna.
This year, the awards include CEO of the Year, which is the only category open to both men and women.
The awards give the participants an opportunity to evaluate their business’ strengths and opportunities while providing great exposure and access to other influential people in a variety of industries.
“Excellence deserves formal recognition,” said Charlotte du Plessis, founder and CEO of the Woman of Stature Foundation and the Woman of Stature Awards.
Part of winning the award includes extensive public relations exposure comprising radio and television interviews as well as articles in noteworthy publications.
The finalists receive great brand exposure for themselves and their businesses leading up to the main event.
