Outcry over Jayden-Lee Meek’s death continues outside Florida Police Station

The community of Fleurhof and surrounds camped outside Florida Police Station demanding progress on Jayden-Lee’s case.

Outraged residents from Fleurhof and neighbouring areas gathered outside the Florida Police Station yesterday, June 28, calling for justice in the unresolved case of Jayden-Lee Meek.

Protesters said they were camping at the station because there have been no arrests and no visible progress in the investigation, despite weeks having passed since the young boy’s death. Activists and community members claim the case has “gone cold”, and their earlier memorandum of demands has been ignored.
