Trinityhouse’s head of sport Agri Zondi congratulated Martha for a stellar performance throughout the first athletics meeting as she secured only the top first and second positions.
“Martha is such a talented athlete, and we always encourage her to take on new challenges. Her coaches are so invested in her progress during her training sessions and make sure she attends each single one of them to work on what she needs to improve from previous competitions.
“We are so proud of her, and we know that she worked extremely hard to get to this position. Watch this space because she will be our next South African professional high jumper,” Zondi said.
Martha’s achievement has cemented her as a young and prominent athlete to keep your eyes on. Her commitment to training and self-improvement has paid off, and she continues to inspire those around her with passion and perseverance.
