As 2020 comes to an end, my biggest hope is that the new year will bring better things for everyone.
Even though there have been so many negative emotions and events this year, there is still a lot that has made the difficulties easier to navigate. I am so grateful for the people I have met and been able to connect with this year. I have been able to listen to and write so many amazing stories, and it is all thanks to our readers.
The strength in the Roodepoort community is amazing, and the support that all of the residents and organisations have shown for each other throughout the year has been inspirational. I hope that everyone takes December to relax and reboot for next year, and that the festive season is filled with love and peace for everyone. Spend this time with those who are closest to you and enjoy all the amazing things that the festive season has to offer.
